Hello, OWFI!
It’s February, the month of love. And what do I love about OWFI? Let me count the ways: the volunteers (you!); the excellent faculty lineup; the devoted officers, board, staff, and committee chairs; the fun costume contest; the inspiring basket wars, the themed luncheons, the exciting banquets…and the list could go on and on.
Let me fill you in on all the things your OWFI board members have been doing. We have an exciting slate of agents, editors, and speakers lined up for you. Check out the faculty on the Turning the Page 2019 Conference Faculty page.
The early bird deadline is just over a month away! Register by March 15th to take advantage of the lower member price of $175. On March 16th, the rate goes up to $200 for the full conference registration. Students (ages 14-25) may join OWFI at cost and register for the low price of just $125.
I’d like to congratulate Shelley Pagach, conference chair, who has been elected to the position of 2020 OWFI President. Shelley is knowledgeable, organized, and efficient. She has been my right-hand woman throughout the conference organization process, and I couldn’t have asked for a better person with whom to plan this conference.
